My life is feeling a bit hollow now.  I never watched it.

@pipercadence The whole series is on Netflix 😊

So this story has nothing to do with me, but it's hilarious so I'll tell it.

In my house we had shared rooms; me and my brother shared a bedroom and my two sisters shared a bedroom. One night my sisters are sleeping next to each other on an air mattress; I think their beds were broken or being moved or something. So...

In honor of Sunday and our greatest American sport, football (screw you baseball!), I'm going to tell some high school football stories. Here ya go @pipercadence

My freshman year of football, we practiced on a small field that was across from the actual football field. It was called the Bowl, because of the way the roads next to it were, it sat below on three...

I'm a different kind of dude. Even though I tend to hang out with very typical kind of dudes. This weekend is homecoming weekend, and everyone else wants to pregame and go out and party. I'm the type of guy that not only likes staying in better, but actually deeply dislikes going to parties and drinking like crazy. Everyone one of my roommates and most...

Pretty much every mixer I go to now.  Now I tend to be the sober eye.  Still like getting out for the more formal stuff.  Just not being a drunken fool.
sheashannara:
I don't think there's anything wrong with grabbing a beer every now and then, but getting drunk? Nah, I think you're making the right call by not always going out and doing that.  Keeps the brain cells alive longer that way

Bugs. I'm deathly afraid of bugs. Don't like any of them. Don't want them near me. Don't want to hear them. Don't want to feel them crawling on me. They're just the worst. There's a reason that when Pandora's box opening is depicted, they depict as a horde of bugs flying out. And there's a reason why God punished the Egyptians with a...

@pipercadence I was actually really surprised by that, because I think I'm really resistant to change for the most part.  But I saw the extraversion score and I was like, yep, that's me.
sosbanfach:
Openness is more than just your willingness to change. A resistance to change is common in people that are anxious (which seems like 99% of the global Internet Forum population - which is absolutely worth writing your Dis on, ahem.) I find myself subconsciously pretty resistant to change, especially at work, but I score ludicrously highly on openness. It takes on board your creativity and curiosity. I've done a fair few of these FFM/Big5 tests over the years (I'm a brain junkie) and it's usually BOOM openness, BOOM neuroticism, ZERO conscientiousness, ZERO agreeableness. Haha. /terribleperson.

For this blog, I'm going to stretch the rules a little bit and give you two of my heroes, one fictional and one real.

My hero from the world of fiction is the wonderful professional wizard, Mr. Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. If you haven't read the Dresden Files yet and plan to in the future - which you should - be aware that this may...
