I really enjoy watching people who take a different approach to playing an instrument than other people. That's why I really love what Javier Reyes does. He takes the 8 string guitar, an instrument normally used for metal players for super low tuned chugging, and turns it into an extended classical guitar with modern influences. It's really incredible to watch and hear. Here's a video that shows him in action.
