I am boiling chicken bones to clean them and it's smelly.

What would be the best way to seal them? I understand "varnish of some kind" but any specific brands/where the hell can I buy it?

Bussing gives me a lot of time to visualize art projects, less time to do them (and then the lazy factor multiplies that by a billion).

I really want to go back to school but I'm starting to doubt that goal. Apartment hunting is like... sucky ass suck. Most places are way out of my budget, I refuse to settle for a dump, blah. My parents keep telling me I'm not financially ready (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!die), the shop changing ownership is enough to make me hesitate. They want to keep me, but I keep having horrible visions of them cutting my pay or something ridiculous like that.

In other, better news I'm really doing a thousand times better this winter in the depresso department with the light. I mean, minus the week after new years, but that's to be expected. ...I wanted an apartment that ryan and I could hurt ourselves in for his birthday though. frown I get this feeling it'll be March and then my parents would have won again. Blast!

Are the chicken bones for one of those art projects you don't have time for?

To seal them temporarily, you could just rub oil of some kind into them after a couple of days of drying the water out.

Go in to your closest Home Depot / hardware-type store and ask for polyurethane. It's the stuff they use to coat and seal floors in high-traffic areas, ie. businesses, etc. Has a HUGE shine too. Should do the trick.
