i never thougt that i would see the day that 2 other people on SG even know who he is!
when i was in grad school, just as the whole bas jan ader craze was starting again, i was so crazy about him that i remade the original, out-of-print, paul andreisse monograph on ader. i color copied the entire book and included every article i could find at the time. then, of course, UC Irvine had that retrospective and I was able to get a "proper" catalogue.
did you get to see the installation that was at patrick painter a while back?
i can't remmeber when that show was at patrick painter but it was probably 6-8 months ago. it was really nice cuz it was just one painted wall piece, alone in that big space.
i ended up not going to see the other cremasters, but 3 was the best of the 4 that i have seen
