Eventually I'm going to connect the two with a double helix wrapping around my forearm, just need money and the right design first.. I know I'll be extremely picky with it too, so it might be a while.
I want it to be a dark, brutal double helix crossing once on the front of the arm and once on the back. The goal is to symbolize both songs and link them together, the DNA strand is for the TOOL song symbolizing evolution and the adding of chromosomes, and I want it to be dark and violent as a nod to the Misfits' anthem of brutality.
Sort of an "evolution through violence" kind of thing. This was an idea I've been mulling about in my head for some time now after realizing that 138 is 46 times three. These songs are totally unrelated but after my silly numbers brain put that together my mind started wandering and I was determined to connect these two tunes beyond that simple coincidence.
Did I over think this? Hell yes, but hey, I think it's a pretty cool idea. Now all my unartistic ass needs to do is successfully relay this idea to someone else and hope they get it. I'd design it myself if I had any talent, as I kind of know what I want it to look like, but the fact remains I'm extremely untalented in artistic things. I just hope I can get the idea across to someone else.
