Hey everyone!!!

I hope that everyone here had a great Christmas!
People on my FB have started to post there pics and I love it!

This year I was completely unexcited about Christmas until Christmas morning. All I really cared about was seeing Sound and getting some much needed time away from my job.

Christmas in Toronto with the friends I refer to as my family was "meh" - meh because things are changing, everything is changing and I'm very uncomfortable with it. To make things even more interesting my brother popped up out of nowhere and seems to be weaseling his way into things again (I know that might seem mean because he's my brother...if you knew the whole story you would understand). One of my roommates who has the most amazing heart has kind of taken him under his wing, which I'm completely against and despite me making that COMPLETELY clear he continued on his path. I haven't said anything yet but if that continues I may opt to move out and remove myself completely from the situation.

I feel like that's always where I seem to end up with family - things get to a point where I either cut them out of my life completely or it just puts too much stress onto to me they end up using me and are totally unappreciative of my efforts. Which is the case with the brother.

Now I just have to figure out if it's better to move in with Fluxy who is looking for a new place for Feb 1st - or find something on my own. Moving out of the place I'm in has been a thought for the past year, at first when I was there I adored it, but now...I just want to move on. That little chapter of my life is over and I'm ready for the next.

Christmas with Sound and his family was so cute and awesome. Our mom bought me Christmas presents, which was totally unnecessary. They were total "mom" presents as well - Christmas socks, pjs, make up case and a scarf and mittens. Seriously he has the most amazing mom, she does such a great job with his family. I've been almost downed in his family since I got here, and that isn't going to stop anytime soon (downed in a really really good way). Everyone was here on Christmas for dinner, boxing day we spent a relaxing day together and then everyone was back for family game night on Sunday. Tonight we have dinner with his grandparents and are seeing Avatar with his friends Alex and Jenn then Tuesday night we have another game night with some family friends.

I'm glad I'm not working in between!
He works from Monday - Thursday - so I'll be shopping with mom, watching girlie movies and hosting a girl day for myself, the mom and Sound's sister completely with strawberries and chocolate, grilled pinapple and fried bananas covered with brown sugar....I'm also thinking mimosas!



I'm so happy here - going back to Toronto always breaks my heart.

Oh...and PS - we totally have his and hers comic book piles on our night stand. How awesome are we?
