Yeah, it's a ridiculous sort of setup I've got going, I realize. I didn't used to enclose myself so much, but I don't deal with temptations well, and I got tired of hurting people. I don't know what my problem is. I can't let go of the moment.

I guess what it is is that I don't want to break the cycle. I love those friendships that are intellectual, and sexual, and timely. I love dealing with people on that raw, intimate level, sexually, philosophically, emotionally... I love being the person that other people can have that sort of interaction with. I've only had three long term relationships, one weird, disturbing, unexclusive multi-year experiment, one excessively normal, pseudo-domestic, unintellectual love-based attempt, and this one. I obviously have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to anything consistent.

Maybe I shouldn't be trying. Might be better off for those poor souls I try to have relationships with.
