Been meaning to work on my SG photographer application but it hasn't really happened since starting the new job. But alas Christmas gave me some time off - met a hopeful, shot her today and it may have been one of the best sets that I have ever taken - EVER! I down and one to go.

I'm going home next weekend and shooting 1-3 girls while I'm there so hopefully I'll get the second set then and be all set to apply FINALLY.

Christmas was tiring. Seriously one day is November 15th and the next day is December 25th and I have no idea what the fuck happens between. I've had 3 Christmases so far. 1 still on the way with the actual fam and another "UnChristmas" with the boy at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb.

This Christmas has proven to be the most luxurious Christmas ever. My friends are far too generous. My favorite part of this Christmas was the giving though, last year I was COMPLETELY broke and couldn't give anyone anything. This year the loves of my life were spoiled and they were so deserving. Everyone simply loved their gifts.

Top 5 Presents that I GAVE

1. My best friend who is also named Courtney got a tiny pink cupcake necklace from Tiffany. It was MY favorite necklace in the store and also my first trip to Tiffany ever. And just seeing her face when she even saw the bag was priceless. She wears it everyday.

2. I took my best gay Lee to see Tina Turner while she was in Toronto. He LOVED it. It was a really awesome show and he was screaming and dancing through the entire show. The day after he wrote on my fb wall "thanks for the best christmas present ever!!!!!" . When tickets actually went on sale last summer we were debating going but they sold out way too fast. I found someone who was selling 2 and surprised him for Christmas.

3. I'm not normally the hugest fan of the gift certificate but my one friend Bobby NEVER gets to go shopping for himself. He just doesn't make enough and would rather live some place amazing that be a material whore. So I went to his favorite store and got him a big gift certificate so he can go and have a completely day of shopping.

4. My friend Deanna has been single for the past year by choice. But she was in a rut a little while ago and now I think she's at a place where she would like to be with someone but just hasn't found anyone special enough yet. So in order to get her out of her rut I gave her the ultimate girl package. I got her a makeup kit from Smashbox with a TON of goodies in it and a little booklet of different looks to go with her new hair colour. (She recently went blonde), I got her some REALLY cute undies to make her feel sexy and I got her a cute pink vibrator which was her first ever to make her feel satisfied.

5. As a lot of you know my best friend Mo is off teaching around the world and I miss her so so much. She also hasn't been home in almost a year and a half - 2 years so she's missing out on a lot. I made her a care package with everything and anything I've found that is amazing. There were cute underwears, a book, make up, probably 5 letters by the time I was actually done and a couple little things to remind her of home.

At the moment I'm house sitting/kittie sitting and it makes me really miss living alone. I love where I am right now and who I live with but I'm a loner when it really comes down to it. I also miss having space. Right now I only really have my room for my stuff. Not everything fits and I have no place to paint which is a big part of why I haven't done anything in the last 15 months.

New Years resolutions - normally I'm not one for them but I just learned the value of planning last week thus now I am.

This year will be my year of getting out of debt. I have a good job, my bills will be paid and even though I know I wont be completely out of debt in a year a big chuck of it will be gone.

I am also hoping that this year will be a great year of love. It kinda takes two to play that game so we'll see how it goes but I diffidently have my fingers crossed. For those of you who have been hounding me - it's the same boy as it's always been. He has completely stole my heart.

Also I'm kinda of keeping my fingers crossed that this next year will be a year of good health. Last year....not so much. I know that the hard part is still ahead but I'm going to do my best to swallow any fear that I may have in order to overcome my current situation.
