Hello, SG world it's been quite awhile, hasn't it? Let's catch up.

My Birthday
Nothing particularly exciting this year. My fiance and I went out to eat somewhere, and then we...did something else...one of my birthday presents was a good sized sack of holiday greens, so things are a little hazy. I know I had a cake. As for presents, I got one hundred dollars worth of new makeup and other beauty supplies, and a fuzzy white spa robe

Christmas
Christmas was a doomed day this year. We already had cumbersome plans that consisted of going out to dinner with my until recently estranged dad and his wife and two kids, my grandfather, and my great aunt Shirley. What actually ended up happening was that as we were exiting the car at the restaurant, Shirley tripped over a curb and landed face down on the asphalt, cutting open her temple and earning herself a nice concussion. So, I spent all night sitting in a hospital room in full makeup, a dress and heels, watching an orderly clean the blood away and stitch her up. I have never been so ready for the holiday season to be over.
