Merry Christmas/Yule/Haunakuh/Kwaanza/Winter, everybody! (tell me if I left anything out :3)
Hey, so, I finally have a small block of time to sit down and tell everyone what's been going on
Firstly, I got Christmas money
My favorite Christmas present to myself with it was my nicotine patches. I'm quitting XD.
While I was getting my hair cut the other day, my stylist and piercer Kathleen (<a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Poke-A-Dot-PiercingCutn-Loose-Beauty-Studio/237007889653136" target="_blank">Poke-a-Dot Piercing and Cutting Loose Salon</a>
like her on FB, and stop by if you're ever in Central Oregon. She's amazing; she did my nose) was telling me that there might be a possibility she could do piercings for me in exchange for advertising
I'm not entirely sure what medium of advertising she means, but if it means piercings I don't have to pay for, then my answer is hell yes! She also mentioned the possibility that one of the tattoo artists that she knows in the area would be willing to the same, which would be a dream come true...although, tbh, I'm a little afraid of getting a tattoo. Not because of the pain (that is a slight worry, I'd be dumb for it not to be. Surely not a deterrent, though), but because I don't want to get something tattooed on my body unless it's absolutely perfect and I'm going to love it forever. And I'm an uber-perfectionist, so that won't be an easy feat 
We'll see.
I'm so excited! We may finally be getting out of this tiny town that we've been living in and struggling in for months. We're planning a two week soiree with my friend S in Portland, and he's going to let us stay there for a few weeks rent free while we look for work. In a real place! With people and stores and stuff! I'm also really excited to see some people that I haven't seen in quite some time.
Now onto the information everyone was actually waiting for G is almost done photoshopping my set, so if I submit it, it will most likely be before the new year :3 here's an unedited preview:
Also, still trying to pick a final name to go with when I apply to be a Hopeful. Suggestions are welcome, if you think of something that fits me.

Great on the offer of the piercings and tattoo...I would love one done but I'm scared to,same as you and it would have to be perfect....
The pain would be more of an issue to me though...
Great that you're getting out of where you are...I need to as well and next year I've decided I am moving....it's been years overdue and I'm finally doing it!
Good luck on the set and hope it works out ok...not sure on what name you should go by though...something relevant to your or something you like...mine was from an all time fave song...just see what feels right....
