Last night was cool. My roommates and I went to see Batman Begins with my brother. We also ate at Champions Billiards. Somehow i got suckered into paying for everyone's food. After we got home I realized that I had spent $200 on eating out this week. Eh, it was all cool though and the first $70 of it was so worth it. Not so much for the food, though the food was good, but for the company. Anyyway getting back to last night. I was kinda dissapointed because my favorite person couldn't come, but part of the reason she is my favorite person is that she is independent and has her own life. The movie was great, especially if you are/were a fan of the comic books. Very dark and far more true to the comic than any movie has been thus far. And i must say Christian Bale is quickly making my list of guys I'd go gay for. If you are unfamiliar with him go see American Psycho or Equilibrium. The food was pretty good but i got a chicken caeser salad and ate almost none of it because I filled up on crab dip. This week is going to suck. The manager is on vacation which means I have to work every day, 12 hour days on Friday and Saturday. Though it does have it's advantages. Since i'm the first assistant it's effectively my restaurant now. The first thing I did was change the music. He always plays the stupidest stuff, and lately he's been playing elevator music. So I changed it first thing Saturday morning. Nothing is quite as calming as walking to a table to deal with an angry customer and hearing the Ramones start to play.
