Ok. I am officially spending way too much time away from SG land. Literally a month since I was last here and now I feel like a dick for leaving one particularly lovely lady hanging in the middle of a conversation.

in the words of a friend of mine "Dan, you're a dick-asaurus rex!"

In other news...not much has changed. I ordered some aluminum rock sliders for the jeep. this shall be my first foray into the world of aluminum jeep parts. I promise when they get here I will take a picture of my baby in it's new trail armor and I will post it. I shall also endeavor to be on here more. I.E. be less of a dicak-asaurus rex.

got my first sun burn of the year hiking two days ago. that was wicked awesome. sweating my balls off I all of a sudden remember why I hide from the sun most days. yeah, it's because i burst into flames the moment I get near sunlight. So II ran back down the mountain all aflame in hopes of smearing some sun tan lotion on myself before it was too late.

it was too late.

The good news is I usually recover pretty fast from sun burns. tomorrow I'll be fine...ideally.
