Look! Sirens again! Probably responding to that explosion that knocked out my power again a couple minutes ago. Here's the really confusing thing though, why do they send waves of fire engines? It implies to me that the fire overcomes and destroys the first to get there and then poses in a anime-villain pose until the strong, higher level fire-fighters arrive to combat it. In other news relating to this mornings power outage I have yet more evidence that I'm super human. Read, and be amazed.
I went to sleep really late last night since the break screwed up my sleep cycle and theoretically could have slept until like 1 if it weren't for classes. The power went out his morning so theoretically I should indeed have woke around 1. So on the dream side of things...I was basically dreaming about classes today. But then after PHIL my family showed up so I went out with them to buy supplies and such. Then suddenly I looked at my watch and it was 1:45! I had missed by ASTR test! No! And my parents were all upset because I hadn't realized what time it was. This in-dream panic went on for about 10 minutes and then I suddenly awoke and was immedistely very thankful that I had, in fact, not actually missed my midterm. Then I looked at my watch and saw that is was 8:15...and the power was out so my alarm hadn't gone off. The lesson of this story is that Stephen's brain can surpass even fairly serious exhaustion and wake him up within 15 minutes of when the alarm theoretically should. WOOO! Now I'm off to lunch with the fantiastic Laura and Jared (if he shows up). And then to my midterm, which I have thankfully not missed.

Today was kind of interesting and busy enough to pull me somewhat out of a my recent bout of uncharacteristic low physical self-esteem. The beginning of the day was the suck. Lots of dentristry. Most wasn't too bad, but it numbed my face good and when it unnumbed I had those damn 'A needle went way too deep' messages from my cheek. But after that I started talking to people and ended up with Ben and Katie and Laura Hughes and Marie Acosta all over here. This was especially cool because
Ben is always fun to have around regardless of when.
Things between Katie and I seem betterish. Still odd, but not hostile or any some such.
Laura's awesome and I won't get to see her again for a while once this week ends.
I haven't seen Marie in YEARS. She's still wonderfully the same.
So we all watched Reign of Fire, which was ammusedly ABYSMAL. And then played some GTA. Ben's staying over so we can start Mage earlish tomorrow so I can meet up with Lauren Barkume in the evening. I don't know we'll do then.
So Laura left not one, not two, but three messages on my cell phone. And she began 2 and 3 with 'sorry to call again'. ....... Laura, if you left me 80 messages I would be overjoyed to get each one. I miss you a lot too. I'm sorry we haven't been in contact much this week. I'm being crazy busy trying to see everyone before I go back and I keep ending up in places where my reception doesn't work. Hopefully I'll be somewhere with decent reception tomorrow evening so keep trying. I crazy-mad-miss you and will see you as early as you can get to C-Ville on Saturday. I'll probably be back in twon by 11 AM at the latest. Anyways, off to bed now so I can wake up early for mage.
