This may (perhaps) be my first journal without even a tinge of unhappiness:

I was a big fat veg yesterday. I sat around, read and played vice city.

Long story short:

A bunch of us went out to this bar McGillan's. My friend Todd was there (and quite trashed). Every girl that walked by, Todd would say "This is my friend Jeremy." It was pretty funny, meeting lots of random people.

Then one of them actually sat down to talk to me. Kris. She was really cool. We bonded over John Denver. (John Denver fucking rocks).

I got her number, she kissed me.

Then she stopped, "I feel like I'm putting on a show for your friends."

This may be because they were drunk and [literally] cheering me on.

She's super-cute. I'm going to call her later today. I'm pretty sure nothing will come of it, as she probably won't remember me. But that doesn't matter, because last night was a lot of fun and my ego has been boosted.
