This evening, while I was sitting somewhat askew on our back stairs with our two cats, Birdcup and Fishfork, I inadvertently and rather noisily passed some gas. My wife, M.F., called out, "Oh, Nice!", and popped her head into the stairwell for the purposes of making a smart remark. The passed gas, however, turned out to be the first of two installments, and while the second was proudly trumpeting, we looked down and noticed that Fishfork had placed her head just below my ass and was sniffing wildly into the wind.
When the nether wind had ceased to blow, she got a wild look in her eyes and ran off. M.F. then got a wild look in her eyes and ran off after her.
"Oh, no, Honey," she called after the fleeing Fishfork, "Don't run! Stop, drop, and roll! Stop, drop, and roll!"
