Good day, my soon-to-be subjects (yea i have this whole plan to take over the world.....ask me about it sometime) Fatboy here yet again. It's about 6 o clock in the morning and I still havn't gone to sleep. I'm bored so I've decided to write in this damn thing for the hell of it. So, what shall we discuss today? I've got it! I'll explain to you, dear reader, (assuming there are any) my theory of the entities (Entity n : that which is perceived or known or inferred to have its own distinct existence, living or nonliving) that make up our psyche (Psyche n. The mind functioning as the center of thought, emotion, and behavior and consciously or unconsciously mediating the body's responses to the social and physical environment.) If you have a coin in your pocket, take it out now and hold it in your hand. It is my personal belief that our minds are exactly like that coin. On one side, we have the the light, the angel, the good, however you choose to look at it. It causes us to feel compassion, love, fondness, and appreciation. On the other side, we have the dark, the demon, the bad. He (or she, whichever the case may be) causes us to feel anger, sadism, revenge, and hatred. Good and evil, black and white, angel and demon, they coexist together because they must. Without evil there can be no good. (and vise versa) And we, as people, pledge ourself to one side or the other, yet never fully. Humans are not capable of being completely good or evil, much in the same way as a coin can never have just one side. Even if one claims alliegance to the dark, there is always that angel inside that draws the line. (are you still reading this?) Everyone has a line, one thing they will absolutely not do, ever, thanks to that angel. And those that side with the light have the occasional urge to do something particularly nasty, thanks to that demon. But you can not tell someones alignment by merely looking at them. It's all on the inside. The only way to determine which side holds this persons favor is by actions.......which brings us to the third entity. Now your probably sittin there, still holding that coin, saying "But fatboy, you said our mind is like a coin and a coin only has 2 sides. Whats this third entity bullshit, ya tubby cock sucker?" To which I shall reply "Only apparently so, you big dumb bitch. But suppose you flip a coin enuff times.....suppose one day it lands on its edge" (LOK:SR2) This, my friends, represents the juggernaut, that rare entity that dwells locked up in the back of our mind, that comes to us only in our hour of most desperate need. The juggernaut is really more of a catalyst than an entity, amplifying whichever side summons him, but its presence cannot be denied. Whenever you hear of a person lifting up a 2 ton truck to pull their child or close friend out from underneath it, or rush into a burning building to save a loved one......or just snap, and kill 15 people with a baseball bat, these are the works of the juggernaut. He gives us the strength, courage, and determination to do what was thought impossible otherwise. The problem with the juggernaut is actions are his method, actions completely devoid of thought, which often causes more harm to the bearer than good. Of course most of us will live our entire lives and never experience the true power of the juggernaut. But we can all feel him deep inside us, in our moments of stress he fights to be free. But we are the ones who ultimately decide which side calls the shots. Well I guess I've rambled on enough for one day. If anyone has a comment i would love to hear it.
