losing 1k and winning 1.5k back in a few hours at 1/2nl is stressful but rewarding. my kitten is still in a cast, but trying like hell to get out of it. I finished two italian crime novels in the past two days and have been meeting with my advisors to figure out where this dissertation is heading. They say a book, I say the dustpile of history. Speaking of history, my father just sent me a history of Europe since 45. Looks promising. Hope I have time to read it. Other books on my reading list are "The Cost of Rights" by Holmes and Sunstein and "The Myth of Ownership" by Nagel. Don't you wish you were me? I have my own carrel at the Brown library now. Remains to be seen how much I use it.

As for asses, there are so many good and so many bad ones, and it's a matter of taste. You're an ass sometimes, but that doesn't count. So I'll have to say Vesper's.
