Over the past few months I’ve been asked a lot about features on the Suicidegirls UK Instagram, so I thought I’d put the info in one place to link to :)
First of all, to make it fair for everyone, you should..
Have a set live in member review
Have your Instagram linked from your SG profile
Be from the UK; or for set teasers, shot by a UK photographer or at a UK shootfest
How we pick set teasers
Every few days we look at member review and see if any new UK sets went live. We check the set meets ‘set of the day standards’ (see the model faq for what makes a good set) and check there are photos safe for Instagram.
(If we don’t know you or your photographer yet then we may miss it, shoot us a message either to me on SG or on the SGUK instagram).
How we pick non-set photos
Every day we check what we’ve been tagged in and, if we have time, search #sguk. We look for good quality photos; well lit, not grainy etc and save them for future sharing.

What’s SFI - Safe for Instagram
You must be obviously clothed - non-sheer lingerie/swimwear is fine but can’t seem like your nude or partially nude.
Can’t be sexually suggestive - ie you can’t be pulling at clothes or look like your taking them off
Images have to respect local laws

Sometimes we get asked why we haven’t posted a set on the IG, these are the most common reasons;
Set doesn’t meet the standards in the model FAQ guide
There are no safe for Instagram images
We don’t know you’re based in the UK
We don’t share sets from models or photographers who have made multiple people ‘significantly uncomfortable’ in the community. The best thing about SG is the community we have, and we want to celebrate that.
Please also keep in mind that those who admin the suicidegirlsuk instagram do so voluntarily because we love our SG community. We also have our own lives, jobs, mental health, physical health etc to deal with. Sometimes we just get too busy.
