Like many people I like making New Years resolutions. I find it gives me something to focus on and to ground me for the year ahead. To learn from my previous mistakes and to grow.
I decided this year to see how 2018 would start before making my resolutions. So here they are.
1. Goodbye to the toxic people
I lost trust in a lot of people in 2017, and that hasn’t ended in 2018. My social anxiety is the worst it’s been for a long time and that down to me letting people take advantage and my not being strong enough in myself. 2018 is about becoming stronger and listening to those in my life that genuinely care.
2. Look after my body
With the health conditions I have, I know I need to take better care of the body I’m in. 2017 I got better at eating well, but not nearly enough. I know I can do it so 2018 will be sticking to and enjoying my diet and going for regular swims to get fitter.
3. Continue to have fucking fun!
2018 is the year for having fun, enjoying laughter, and celebrating the badass awesome people there are in the world. Book more shoots, get back into my hobbies, smile more for no reason.
