Top 3 presents for someone like me...

This week's blog homework from @lyxzen, @rambo & @missy is "Top 3 presents for someone like me..."

Well, I'm practical. I like things that have functionality and look good, like pretty dresses that have useful pockets. I'm also a single mum, work full-time and suffer from 4 chronic conditions that cause severe pain and fatigue along with other symptoms.

Right now, the top 3 presents for someone like me would be:

3. This trench coat.....Just look at how many pockets it has for your stuff!

2. A new Canon DSLR. I've managed to lose mine and it's also nearly a decade old! With a new camera I can get back one of my hobbies and I can still take photos even when I'm in a lot of pain. It's all about doing the things that make you happy. My son is old enough now that he's starting to want to learn my hobbies too :)

I've been looking to save up for a Canon EOS 750D

1. The best present you could get for someone like me? Time. If you know anyone who has a chronic illness, or just has a lot to deal with, give them time. I can't express how much this is appreciated. Help with doing a food shop, or baby sitting so I can nap, or simply just some company. Being alone when you can't do anything because of fatigue and pain can be incredibly depressing. Christmas is about your family and friends, and a gift doesn't need to have monetary value. It's the efforts of my friends and family to be there for me that keep the negativity and depression out of my life.

Personally have no time to give, besides time for this message. But, trench coat equates to awesomeness! I want one, I'd wear it... Honestly kiddo, the struggle is worth your time. Never give up, never surrender.
