On the job search tip it's even thicker... The head housekeeper at my current property, the Holiday Inn Springfield, was fired this past wednesday, and my current manager mite be taking that position. Which means that I'll probably be offered the front desk manager position. It's a sweet deal, basically the same work I do now while not working third shift, more managerial BS, and a $32K Salary(almost double what I'm making now). The ony donside is that I want to get the fuck out of OH. Yellow Springs, my home town, is a black fucking hole. It will suck you in and never let you go. My best friend is again talking about going to the Ocala rainbow gathering then out to AZ then to VT for the spring/summer and it's irritating the fuck out of me because I know that I can't afford to do any of it. I have to many financial responsibilities.
Anyone got some advice? I could use it. Anyone know of a hotel looking for a front desk manager? I'm good, really good.
