my first run of the day was dropping the Ouzo trees into Game Creek Bowl. pssh, only knee deep+ pow in that spot.


by far the best opening day of my colorado tenure. crowds were thin, snow was deep, closures at a minimum. rode for about 5 hours today, basically until my legs were 100% done.

went up to Arapahoe Basin today for about two hours. Felt great to be on my snowboard again. Found some good stuff to ride towards the still closed East Wall, some small rocks to huck and some snow just below knee deep and fluffy.
