thanks all. today's interview was what corporations call a "personality interview" where the poor HR person has to ask you ridiulous form questions like "give an example of when you helped to solve a problem" stuff like that. I hate interviews like that, but its a formality when dealing with a big company. when it comes down to it my bosses know what they get with me and the chef wouldn't have pulled me into his office to tell me that the job was opening up and he expected me to apply if he wasn't already considering the promotion. so that's where it sits.
