Bonsoiee from Brest France. Its about nine at night and im stuffed from a kick ass shellfish feast. My first week has been packed and wonderful. I did all the touristy stuff in Paris and loved it all. I sat in a park every day and enjoyed being there. I link with my friend Taylor from high school who lives in Japan but was in Paris working. We at at a one Michelin star restaurant and it made me think how a chef ever gets three. I had a drunk kid from Paris tell me all americans are stupid, quiz me where Algeria was and when I told him the french occupied it and it led to a terrible war of independence he looked at me and said "really?".

I trained on to Bayeux in Normandy and fell in love with the countryside. Also the people there LOVE Americans. Unlike Paris they remember who got rid of the germans. I ate a four course menu next door to a cathedral from 1077. I toured Utah and Omaha beaches and I will never forget it.

Today I strolled to a castle first built by the Romans in the 4th century and used by various big shots in the history of the region. Besides the museum and the hq for the french navy it hasn't changed since the 1600's.
