3 more shifts of work and then i'm done. getting very excited. looked over more trip stuff today and i can't wait. at this time next month i'll be in Paris, actually it'll be my third day in Paris. maybe i'll be in the Louve right now, or munching on something delicoius hanging out in a park people watching. maybe i'll be shitfaced on wine, who knows!

the more i look at maps, print and internet, the more i realize that i won't be so hard getting around. i'm not too worried about the language barrier because its 2011 and i'm pretty confident i can find a frog who croaks english at least a little.

my two weeks at home will be spent locking down more hostels and other wonderful things like winery tours.


in other news i went to the Rockies/Cubs game on sunday. it was a real good game, tied until the bottom of the 8th when the rockies took it over. we had nice seats in left field. it was in the 70's and sunny that day in denver. yesterday in vail was overcast and cool and by night we had thunderstorms. about an hour after it started raining it all turned to snow and its been snowing since. i think vail reported 9" of snow this morning and its been going all day.

closing day is this sunday, which i'll be attending and then its a sprint to finish packing and get my room and bathroom all cleaned up. Leave for the midwest on the 29th.
