now that its deeper into 2011 i feel myself getting anxious/exciting for the season to end, and the long anticipated move to chicago and trip to europe to happen. i've been thinking about it a lot lately actually.
i went over my travel itinerary last night and it kind of got me all juiced up and i stayed up way to late doing research. i'll admit that i'm a little nervous going alone, but i feel like i will settle in fine as far as using the train system and getting myself situated. i don't speak french but trying to learn some useful stuff so hopefully that will help when the situation arises. i'm hoping of course that i meet some rad folks at the hostels and have some people to go around with and of course eat and drink with.
also very much looking forward to starting a new chapter in chicago. i feel its going to be a great personal and professional move. i'm slowly starting to research restaurants that i'd like to work at and looking around at neighborhoods to get an idea of where to live. its a long way off, but i can't help myself.
