yesterday. hmm. well didn't totally go as planned. tried to ride, but there was a huge cloud sitting over vail. it wasn't snowing but something in that could made ice. the kind of ice that covers everything including your goggles. wipe 'em off and a minute later, covered in ice. Blue Sky and China Bowl were closed due to weather. i came down because there's nothing i hate more than not being able to see. i think that ice would have coated my eyeballs without goggles.
2. Bears. well. they are who we thought they are. yuck.
3. Weezer. They were every entertaining. and i'm not going to complain about a free show. lots of people are pissed at Vail Resorts because the schedule had an opening band on it and the hours were 6-9. we got there at 6 and Weezer went on a few minutes later. they played until about 7:15 or so, which is a pretty standard rock show set. from what i can recall they played:

People on Vail's facebook page were so upset that they didn't play for like 3 hours, which i don't get. yeah, the info was a little shaky, but we showed up at 6 and saw the whole show. the best part is all the people talking shit about the people complaining. I mean, how are you really going to be mad that a huge band like weezer only played for a little over an hour at a FREE show.

I am jealous of both your proximity to good snow and the Weezer concert. An hour and fifteen minutes seems pretty standard for a concert and both Troublemaker and I Want You To are on my current ipod rotation.
