I don't know if the US needs to legalize pot, it seems our memories have already been blasted to oblivion. how can a country elect probably the worst person for the most powerful position and for 8 years allow that person to declare a false war and then ruin the surplus he entered office with and then put the country in the worst financial position its been since the 20's, and then just FORGET about it when the black guy gets elected. (holy run on sentences). This midterm election was won on hate and biased and not really rational thought. All you need to do is listen to the rhetoric of this so called Tea Party to confirm that. They claim to love the country and the constitution, but they need to amend their love. it should say "we love our country as long as everyone is christian, straight, and preferably white". They rally against the Pres. because they think he's muslim. but if they really loved America they should be applauding the very fact that a muslim can become Pres. in this country.

Iowa outted judges who legalized gay marriage last year, but what is really the issue with gay marriage? do gay people love each other less? do gay people provide less means and less love for their children? do two men or women loving each other erode these "family values" for the rest of us straight people? or is it that the Bible says that a man should not lay with a man as with a woman? ahhhh. its so much simpler than it seems. keep your religion out of your politics and things will go a lot smoother. don't think WWJD, because when it comes to government and law, Jesus shouldn't do shit. He should be helping the Bears block the pass rush.


i've always been of the opinion that if politicians really wanted to get things done and not just get re-elected they would figure it out and get shit done. but my slim window of optimism is only getting slimmer. we need less screaming and more conversation. a house divided will surely fall and with all this political venom being spewed the structural integrity of our foundation is being comprimised. I don't care if you're a republican, a dem, a tree hugger, a snake handler, a voodoo witch doctor, flaming, butch, black, purple, or plaid. if you're willing to work for change you're my horse. and these horses have some broken ass legs.
