the restaurant giveth, and the restaurant taketh away.


so some assholes (see: investors) are coming thursday afternoon and the owner wants some extra (see: waste of time) cleaning to be done. because everyone knows that important investment decisions are made based on how well scrubbed the walls of various hallways are.

so because of that i went from having wed, thurs, and friday off to having wed and friday off. from three days in a row to no days in a row.

i guess in the scheme of things getting paid my high hourly wage to do some bullshit work for a few hours isn't so bad, but i was really looking forward to the long weekend.
