so right now i'm researching the different regions in france i want to visit. the plan is to find a good location in each area as a home base, and take day trips from that location so i don't have to fuck with finding a room in every place i go. so far it seems like this will be possible, and that is keeping trip planning morale up. the off season is coming up so i'll have more time to do this. library and bookstores with wifi here i come! i tend to get distracted if i do this type of stuff in my house.

need to go get a book on spain soon so i can start reading up on that. it seems like i'll have to stay more eastern spain as to not miss my flight back to the US.


parents are coming to town this weekend. hiking and eating well here we come.
