new york was a great trip. saturday we took it easy. had brunch in park slope and then headed into chinatown and soho. at some amazing dumplings at Vanessa's Dumpling House. 8 pork dumplings, 3 pork buns, and two sesame sandwich things for about 9 bucks. went to williamsburg for dinner at a great bbq joint called Tete Sau or something like that. awesome.
surprised the hell out of my mom yesterday for her bday/mother's day. we all came to the conclusion that the surprises have to end when my mom turns 60 (next year) otherwise she might have a heart attack.
