so there was a shooting at the sandbar in Vail on saturday night. 1 dead, 3 injured. pretty fucked up. i was thankfully in denver and i say thankfully because that bar is my normal saturday college football hangout. my roommate WAS there and witnessed the whole thing. he was actually talking to the guy earlier in the night before he came back in after being thrown out and started shooting. my roommate is okay, but you can tell he's still pretty shaken up.

no one that was hurt. my roommate knows one of the bar managers who was shot in the arm and will be okay. the person who was killed was 70 years old, two 20 somethings were shot in the arm and leg, and a 63 year old was hit multiple times and flown to denver, he's in critical condition.


i think people around here are just shaken up by it happening, its the first fatal shooting in Vail in like 25 years. The guy is pretty creepy looking and supposedly has post traumatic stress disorder from vietnam.
