so i've got some leads on jobs. applied for a place in Denver yesterday. Small boutique place near the culinary school i went to. Tues-Sat dinners only. Owned by a couple who are chefs. I think it would be a great place to cook, but don't know about pay/benefits if it would make it worth the move.
did the online app for the place here in Vail i really want to work, my emailed resume has gotten no response so i'm trying the application they have on their website. maybe that will bear fruit.
things are slow again with the departure of the Teva Mountain Games, which ill take since i'm still working in the casual place when banquets are slow. tonight we'll at least have some business. 20 bigwigs from Paypal are staying in the hotel and have a table reserved. Super easy wedding this weekend on saturday and a day off on sunday. think i'm going to go to Frisco and play some disc golf . . . you know, if the temp actually gets above 55 and/or it doesn't rain.
