finally a day off. getting back from a fantasy land vacation and being hit with the reality of a 7 day work week. the shortest day i worked was about 9.5 hours. i was covering for 2 chefs who were on vacation which means that in addition to doing 3 tastings last week, i was also overseeing one of the restaurants. this week it meant the restaurant, plus trying to get things ordered and organized for 2 more tastings this weekend and a wedding for 110 people on sunday.
phew.
always its nice to finally have some time to relax. i'm going to head into vail this afternoon and find a nice bar with a patio and have some drinks with friends . . . and possibly bring the puppy along.
A-Basin is still open until June 7th, so if my package from japan gets here soon (with my boots in it) i might just get one more day of riding in before summer officially starts.
