closing day was great fun. got sunburn despite wearing sunscreen. drank too much beer and champagne. had a successful if drunken ride from the top of Vail to the base with said intoxication.

my roommate came home with a scraped up chin and his out of town buddy could barely walk after getting lost on the Mt and ending up on a walking path with more pavement than snow on it. whoops.

the Last Day is a huge event here in Vail. all the locals congregate at the top of the mountain in costumes and what not and just drink drink drink. Ski Patrol shoots off all their dynamite that would otherwise expire.


its a great time, but can be scary if you ride down when lots of other drunks are trying to ski down at the same time.
