holy shit what a great day. 21" of snow in the last three days 18" of it was saturday and sunday morning. I woke up and got to Vail at about 8:20. At 9 i rode up the Vista Bahn and trekked over to Avanti where i met up with the Johns, emily, jackie.
we took Avanti up and decided to ride down to wildwood. we bombed through a flat powder stash and looked over to see a pillowy tree run right below our feet. It was one of those lame tv moments where you look down the run and then at your friends and you all bomb it at the same time.
it was fucking great.

My cousin lives in Vail. I used to go every winter with my old shop. It's a good mountain, but I couldn't stand some of the locals...lol.
