9" of new snow and counting and i have to fucking work today

i worked from 7am until 6pm today.



happy thanksgiving.

6 day week.

the tourists have started pouring in, even though it hasn't snowed in 2 weeks and vail is terrible right now.


although it is pretty amusing watching the pizza pizza french fry pizza style of skiing again.

Last night went really well. we did a plated dinner for 45 people.

i was happy with how everything tasted and looked. actually more than happy, everything came out great.

i also got my summer bonus, which i decided to spend some of it on an XboX. and yes, i'm already addicted to it. i'm getting that shaun white game as soon as it comes...

vail opened about an hour ago.

thanksgiving is next week, which is the first official shit storm of the season. although we don't have much snow in Vail so who knows. it'll still be like a 13 hour day though.

speaking of those! since i'm splitting time between banquets and Ludwigs right now, guess who's already working 12 hour days! Me!

its been snowing since 4pm and i've got the day off to go riding.

then i'm driving to denver and seeing Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, and The Gaslight Anthem with Drew.

its gonna be good.

rode at Keystone today. We got there right before the maze got super full, so that was a bit of luck.

they're only running a gondola right now, which is real annoying having to take your gear off after every run. for the amount of people that were there, they kept it running pretty smooth.
