the ankle is finally feeling better. just in time for my friend of 20 years Phil to come visit me from NYC. Supposedly there's a winter storm warning for tonight and monday. i was walking around today in jeans and a t-shirt so we'll see.


finally getting back on the hill this weekend, and even though the conditions are awful, i'm still pretty excited.

i just watched Run Ronnie Run for the first time. its like the longest greatest episode of Mr. Show ever.

it was about 50 degrees today. and right now its windy and white out conditions.

tomorrow will be a powder day . . . and i still can't ride.

caught your comment on the Food Network Chet thing, replied and then checked you out in that order-- Can't say that I"ve ever been to Avon--spent half my life in Allenspark and thereabouts up north of you--grew up in FC, moved out here to New York and bought 70 acres for $500 a pop. Have four neighbors, and three of those are horses! much better!! We don't have mountains, but we do have a ton of trails and water; no skiing in easy access (but since I shattered my knees (again) that's not a priority any more).
I'm interested to see you're a cook. I'm not, but definitely travel the world on my stomach!
Best meal to date: oddly enough was an Indian meal in Glasgow. and that includes traveling high and low-class around India itself. (where the 2nd through about 100th best meals came from)
