the Last Day is a huge event here in Vail. all the locals congregate at the top of the mountain in costumes and what not and just drink drink drink. Ski Patrol shoots off all their dynamite that would otherwise expire.
its a great time, but can be scary if you ride down when lots of other drunks are trying to ski down at the same time.

sunday i lapped some trees in blue sky all day. found an untouched pillow stash and floated through thigh deep snow off a boulder into more thigh deep snow. i seriously laughed the whole way down to the lift.
