Yeah I'm going over the hump right now. Today well, Wednesday was supposed to be the worst day so it's all up from here...hopefully. By tomorrow I'm hoping to be doing less wearing of food and more eating of it. I swear, I need one of those lobster bib things. Sexy, I know.

great weekend with Tommy. the snow came in force after his arrival and we had two pretty epic days at vail.

switching it up a little bit tomorrow. about five of us are heading over the pass and riding at Keystone tomorrow. haven't gone there yet this year so i'm super excited. had a fun day at Vail today bombing groomers and hitting the little jumps.

19" in the last two days. finally some signs of winter. just so happened the snow came on my days off. rode mostly Pete's Bowl in Blue Sky Basin today. there's a stretch of trees that i was lapping for most of the day. good fast pow lines that opened up into 3 turn long pow fields with natural hits.

thigh high. thigh high powder all over vail's back bowls and blue sky. the place was packed, but I got fresh tracks all over the place. first EPIC day of the year.

had a great day at vail today. no lift lines and rode alone for maximum lapping. went back to Blue Sky Basin for the first time this season. found some real nice tree runs, did lover's leap which was still nice and soft (and only about a 5 foot cornice). went to my personal favorite pow stash in the trees and found CHEST deep snow....
