So, my daughter joined her school's track team, and I went to her track meet yesterday. I will say that the 3 hours I spent at her track meet was most likely the longest three hours that I ever had in my life, but at least I went and was a supportive parent. Right? I took my camera, which my daughter really enjoyed because I got to photograph her and her friend Rebecca doing the 200m run and their disc throwing. It was a lot of waiting around in the sun, which wasn't bad weather, but both Sam (who came out in support) and Zoe got sun burnt. Thank god for my Latinx side of me, I just got a nice little tan. but regardless, she had fun and I don't think I have to go to the last home track meet next week...(thank god...).
