There are times when I look at the stats for my website which you can find here, and think that it is amazing to see where in the world that people have been who have looked at my work. Seriously, I am sitting here in the middle of Kansas, in the middle of the United States, on Election Tuesday, having voted early so I am listening to the band This Bike is a Pipe Bomb, drinking coffee and making comments on my student's portfolios that they have turned in for this week, and think took a quick look over at the website and am just shocked.
Now, these views are based on where in the world a Google search has been done, so it may not be the most accurate of ways to measure things, but when I see the country codes of some of the google pings, it is crazy. The reason why I bring this up is because I have seen people look at the site from Canada to Brazil, Australia and New Zealand to China to England, from Spain to Russia. I just never thought so many people would be interested in the stuff that I did...the artwork that I created.
For instance, I am looking at the stats from this past week, and I am seeing people have performed searches and found the website from Canada, Italy, England, and Germany this week (Wednesday to Tuesday). I am sorry, I just find that funny and had to share it.
