So, over this past week, I have been VERY busy. I was able to photograph the MLS team Sporting Kansas City on one day and the next day was GOP hopeful Marco Rubio. It has been a VERY busy past few days, and I have been really working on some stuff for school as well, but it has just been busy busy busy. So without further delay, here are the SKC photos of these good looking guys.
However, since I did photograph Bernie Sander's a week and a half ago, I figured that it would be a good thing to get the other side of the political spectrum and get a GOP candidate as well. I tried to get Ted Cruz, who was in the area the day before SKC's media day, but that was messed up in a lot of ways and I did not get the passes that I thought I would (even though I did have the cell phone number of one of Cruz's top PR people) so I opted to go photograph third place in the polls, Rubio.
I will tell you this...this thing was fucking odd. There was no security checks, no secret service, nothing like that. I just checked in with one guy who had a list of all of the approved media on his cell phone and then got my pass. Sure, I was allowed right up to Rubio when he was giving his speech, like I was with Bernie, but with no security to look at bags or to screen anything...I just found that a little odd.
ANYWAY, here are some photos from that event.
