Well the past 24 hours has been amazing.

Today is my 9th day smoke free, and I was even around a friend today who smokes I wasn't tempted! Very proud of myself.

I got accepted into the school that I was trying to get into, the Kansas City Art Institute today! It was amazing, that was my alarm clock today, my acceptance phone call from them. No better way to wake up. I've been basically on cloud nine since then. I'm supposed to have my financial package as early as tomorrow.

I got to see the kids today too. They've been spending the night with their grandparents since they started school this past weds. and I now don't back to school until the 26th. It would be easier that way and cheaper for everyone. It was good to see them today, but the best thing is I get to puck them up tomorrow from school and they are with me for the weekend. I'm so excited. 12 hours from now and I'll be there, picking them up.
