Here's something appealing to the masses: Controversy. I'll be writing this out twice (here and on myspace). I call this:
Jailbait Propositions.
No lie, this actually happened to me over the weekend. I normally DO NOT attract such attention nor engage in this particular behaviour, nonetheless it's some funny shit!
So I was working a private party event bartending. It happened to be an 18th bday party with all the trimmings (food, drinks, music and of course parents!). I had something tasteful on. a turqouise blue muscle tee mesh top and blue jeans. Along with my stilleto boots (bad choice to tend bar in!).
Under parental supervision, it was all right for the kids to have mixed drinks. My FAMOUS margarita was a sensation to the kids. I thought it would be weird being around teenagers, but we all had fun. I taught them how to make drinks, what to do when you leave the bar but wanna keep your drink, etc. I was like their hero to them.
Well, of course when people drink, they throw their inhibitions out the door. This one particular kid (about medium build, avg height) looked like a brunette version of heath ledger. Kinda came on strong. He went to my side of the bar acting like he was gonna do my job. I had advised him to step away or he's cut off.
Well, to him this was a challeng. He got very close up in my face and asked me if I'd prefer the company of younger men?! WTF?!! This was too weird. I had moved him back to the other side of the bar and he continued to press on with the advances.
At this point I decided to take a break and socialize a bit with other guests. He came back and pursused me even more. I felt like there was this puppy following me around.
I'd sit somewhere else, he'd be right next to me saying things. There's even a pic somewhere, where I was posing with my sister and he leaned in as though to kiss me.
I'll admit it's flattering but it's completley illegal and just wrong on so many levels. This is a child. he has no clue as to what he was saying.
I ended up not leaving until around 130pm after cleaning up. He was there to say goodbye. I'm sure he wanted the kind of goodbye you'd give someone you admire. BUT again he's illegal (17 to be exact). He kept proclaiming that he'd be 18 in a couple of weeks. Doesn't matter. It's a child.
Seriously, I've heard of stories and seen movies, I NEVER had before had some really young guy aggressively pursue me like that! I also find out later that he had a girlfriend?!
