i don't have to have surgery!!! i was looking at some painful facial surgery and to not have to deal with that is super awesome.

getting stiches removed may be one of the greatest feelings ever. it feels like the last day of school.

i also got the ok to drive, so now i can make trips to the bookstore, library, movies, etc.. to keep occupied. i still have a month to go before i'm allowed to do anything beyond lurk around, though.
