I dunno. the hobbit is more whimsical, and more faery tale-ish than ROTK.
I won't say that the hobbit isn't a little dark (what good thing isn't but LOTR is much darker.
and the hobbit is more fantasitical-- more improbable- like all the animals that help out the bear guy- how would that look on screen. I dunno
But even if it sucked,I'd go seethe hobbit movie like 8 times. thank god none of the LOTR movies have sucked.
