Still no news yet...
I felt a wee bit under the weather yesterday...decided to go home after I had finished voicetracking my show.
Stopped at Chinook Second Cup and grabbed a coffee with Katie. Talked about how school was going for her at SAIT. We only talked for a few mintues or so, as she had to start at 4.
Got home, ate some leftover pizza...watched a few episodes of Season 1 of Nip Tuck (I love that show!!) and went to bed for like 8.
Woke up this morning at 7:30 feeling like a new man! Funny how sleep can recharge your batteries. Had a staff meeting at 9 this morning....same old boring stuff. The Sales Manager at the Station is a real tool though. Doesn't understand anything. Says he loves what the radio station is doing with all the new prizes, but doesn't realize that it will stop once I leave. And the reason I'm leaving is because of him and his closed mind about promotions. He says a promotions dept is a luxuary that we don't need. What an idiot. How else would a radio station get noticed without promotions.
What can you do? Some people don't get it.
That's enough ranting for one day. If I get good news today, I'll let you know.
