I want to do a road trip from Pennsylvania to Cali this summer, I would like to stop at interesting places/landmarks/etc along the way and do a few photo shoots as well! Also I probably won't have the funds to stay in hotels, or even motels at that, so if any of you lovelies would like to let me stay at your place for a night or two you can send me an email with your location and when I finally have my trip all planned out I will let you know if we will be crossing paths!
I've never done anything like this before so if you have any tips for a newbie traveler let me know!

You should ask around the hopeful group and the travelling group and you might be able to find someone to carpool with ^^

I read your other blog and I know you are not going to be doing this trip now, but I have taken that road trip several times. I used to travel from a town called Troy in northern PA to the bay area in Cali. I have taken just about every type of road in between and I would say that if you do it in the future, that you would not take the freeways very much. There is soo much more to see in the small towns and the people you meet along the way is what makes the trip. You might spend a little more in gas, but I bet you that you will never have to pay for a single night in a hotel and hardly have to buy a meal. Just my .02 cents.
