As for your last post - it was eerily (is that the right spelling...almost have my masters in creative writing and I still can't spell) similar to me in my long time (now former) girl friend.

She was ready for marriage and kids and all...and I was at a different place. We still love each other, but we're at different places - and isn't it hard to explain that you want to try being single again...not just so you can make out with every girl out there or because of some boyish fear of marriage (that wasn't it).

I'm also someone who doesn't need attention all the time and can be very self relient (and not because I'm cold or anything like that).

We started hanging out a little, recently, as friends, but it's strange and hard to do as old habbits die hard.
